ABOUT
Robert C. Profusek (Rob) is a creator, storyteller, and connector with a passion for bringing ideas to life. His journey through the worlds of media, hospitality, and design has been guided by one central principle: that creativity has the power to change how people feel, think, and connect.
As the founder of Harvest Media, Rob has produced and supported projects across film, television, and experiential entertainment—collaborating with artists, filmmakers, and brands to tell stories that are both emotionally resonant and culturally relevant. His work spans creative development, communications, and impact strategy, helping shape narratives that move audiences and spark meaningful conversation.
Rob is also the co-founder of the RAM Film Society, based at the Ram’s Head Inn on Shelter Island—a project that blends his love of cinema, community, and place-making. Through RAM, he’s helped create a new model for how audiences experience film—merging art, dialogue, and hospitality into immersive, one-of-a-kind events.
Beyond his professional roles, Rob’s passion lies in creating spaces for creativity and connection. He leads The Harvest Companies, the umbrella under which Harvest Media and non-profit Harvest Capital operate, championing initiatives that empower creators and amplify cultural voices.
Rob’s work is as much about curation as it is about creation—bringing together people, projects, and ideas that reflect his belief in storytelling as a living, evolving force that binds communities and drives culture forward.
